2008 – 2014

Began his career as a carpenter at a leading furniture company based in Ruse, Bulgaria, where he specialized in the production of furniture for hotels, offices, and private homes. Key projects during this period include Hotel Ramada in Frankfurt and Hotel Ameron in Hamburg, Germany.

2014 – 2016

Worked as a CAD draftsman in a furniture company located in Ruse, Bulgaria, designing innovative and functional furniture solutions tailored to luxury apartments and private homes.

2017 – 2018

Served as Project Manager and CAD Draftsman, successfully leading projects such as the representation of Rehau Office in Ruse and private residential projects in Sofia and Ruse, Bulgaria.

2018 – 2020

Played essential roles in high-profile international projects. At Winchester Cathedral in the United Kingdom, Iliyan was part of the main contractor team, serving as Chief Carpenter for the
"Kings & Scribes: The Birth of a Nation" project. At the WWII Gallery in the Imperial War Museum in London, he contributed as an Estimator and Junior Project Manager, ensuring precise execution and cost management.

2021 – 2024

Took on the position of Main Project Manager at one of the largest furniture factories in Ruse, Bulgaria. During this time, he successfully oversaw global projects, including Hotel Van der Valk in Nuland, Netherlands; Wagyu Kanata at The Museum in Amsterdam, Netherlands; Tissot Store in Bulgaria; The Webster in New Jersey, USA; L’OCCITANE Store in Paris, France; and Hotel AKENA in Strasbourg, France.

Born and raised in Bulgaria, Ivaylo built his career across Europe and has spent more than 20 years living and working in Belgium, where he holds dual Bulgarian and Belgian citizenship.
